Main duties of the job
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for addressing the various needs of residents and delivering top-quality, person-centered care and support. This role requires you to supervise and motivate a team of dedicated Care Assistants in conjunction with the Deputy General Manager. Additionally, you are expected to assist the clinical team with tasks like medication management, conducting assessments, developing care plans, or conducting care reviews. Respecting the dignity and preferences of residents is imperative, and all staff contribute to creating a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment. The position also provides an opportunity for career advancement through continuous training, allowing for career development into roles such as Care Practitioner or Regional Carer.
