Job summary
We are inviting applications from compassionate and dedicated professionals who hold the RSPH Certificate and Diploma / Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology to join our Mortuary team in a fulltime, permanent role as a senior Anatomical Pathology technician.
Main duties of the job
The role is varied and can at times be emotionally demanding, so we are seeking someone who demonstrates exceptional sensitivity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisation and timemanagement abilities, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. You will work closely with colleagues on a daily basis, contributing to a service that makes a genuine difference during some of the most critical moments for families and professionals alike. The position will include rotation, working between the LGI & SJUH mortuaries. The department operates an out of hours On-call rota for evenings, Bank holidays and weekends, participation in the rota will be required.
