1 SESSION PER WEEK - FIXED TERM – 24 MONTHS

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator to join our ScotGEM teaching team of Generalist Clinical Mentors (GCMs) to support the delivery and teaching of the Year 4 students.

NHS Highland is proud to host Graduate Entry Medicine students (ScotGEM) in collaboration with the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee. The Medical Education department is looking for someone to join our team to support ScotGEM Year 4 team from the next academic year 2026/27 which starts in August 2026

ScotGEM is an innovative and exciting four-year programme that puts GPs at the centre of undergraduate medical education.

The post is NHS Highland Additional Cost of Teaching (ACT) funded.

Full training for the role will be provided.

Educational and administrative support for this role comes from the Medical Education department and will include induction and access to useful faculty development opportunities.
