We are looking for a Salaried GP, ideally currently within a GP Practice, Urgent Care, recently qualified or other appropriate clinical settings to cover triage on Thursdays. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.

About the role

As a salaried GP you will be working within a cohesive team of fully supportive staff enabling you to focus on the quality of care of your patients, with a strong training ethos.

Main duties of the job

Duties within the role:

1. Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and use clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis.

2. Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients.

3. Ensure all treatment provided are based on evidence and best practice.

4. Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards.

5. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate clinical software.

6. Prescriptions.

7. Looking at blood test results.

8. Full triage responsibility

Job responsibilities

We are in a position to advertise for a salaried GPs to join a well-established team of Healthcare Professionals.

We are a GMS practice and provider of excellent clinical services to a population of 8000 plus and growing.

We are looking for Salaried GPs, ideally currently within a GP Practice, Urgent Care, recently qualified or other appropriate clinical settings to cover triage on Thursdays. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.

Key Information:

2. High QOF, KPIs and Enhanced Services targets consistently achieved.

3. All sites use EMIS Web clinical system and Docman 10.

4. Integrated telephony

5. Successful track record of additional service delivery as part of the local GP network, including Primary Care Network and other bespoke services.
