Salaried General Practitioner (GP) | Rosedean House Centre | Full-time (40 hours) or Part-time Available

Main duties of the job

If you:

  • Are a General Practitioner registered with the GMC, on the GP Specialty Register and on the NHS Performers List with post CCT experience in Primary or Urgent Care
  • Have a passion for your work and a burning desire to thrive in a dynamic organisation whilst delivering NHS services to a wide range of patients
  • Are organised and have a proactive approach to clinical and operational responsibilities
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of a valuable local service
  • A lively and supportive PPG
  • A portfolio role which may comprise clinical roles/responsibilities both inside and outside the company, and/or multi-modality working within the company across multiple services
  • Salary up to £110,000 per annum (full and part-time options available)
  • 15-minute appointments
  • Relocation support
  • Support with skilled-worker visa sponsorship

Job responsibilities

What youll work on

  • A mix of telephone, face to face and home visit appointments
  • Understand the patient population to be able to provide high quality care to patients
  • Undertake both planned and urgent primary care as required
  • Provide patient focussed, evidence-based practice to a high standard
  • Supporting the wider MDT to ensure patients with long term and/or complex health conditions are cared for at the right time, by the right clinician

About Rosedean House Surgery

Rosedean House Surgery is a well-established GP practice in the heart of Liskeard, a historic market town in Cornwall; a gateway to Bodmin Moor and the coast, close to Looe and Plymouth. The surgery has served the local community since 1874 and is now home to a dedicated team, providing care to approximately 10,000 registered patients.

We are proud to have recently been rated Good by the CQC and remain committed to continuous improvement as we further develop and enhance our services. We also have exciting plans to deliver a state-of-the-art redevelopment of the surgery in the very near future.

  • Experience in primary or urgent care, or newly qualified with a willingness to develop
  • Within 2 years of CCT at the time of the appointment (ARRS-funded role)
