Main duties of the job
- Deliver safe, evidencebased clinical care including acute, chronic, and preventative consultations.
- Work efficiently with the multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient allocation and reduce unnecessary GP workload.
- Use EMIS and associated clinical systems (e.g., TQuest, Pathlinks) to maintain accurate, timely documentation and support clinical decisionmaking.
- Participate in duty/oncall rotas where required, with reduced frequency due to AHP support.
- Provide continuity of care and support complex cases, with particular benefit from mental health colleagues.
- Contribute to improved workflow by minimising unnecessary admin through effective delegation and process optimisation.
- Participate in clinical meetings, MDT discussions, and monthly protected learning time.
- Support training and mentorship activities within the practice, including opportunities to develop as a GP trainer.
- Engage in personal development and appraisal processes, with opportunities for progression into leadership roles.
- Uphold the organisations values, fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive culture.
