Job summary

We are looking for a dedicated GP to join our team for a regular session every Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a consistent weekly session within a well-organised practice, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide continuity of care to our registered patient population.

You will provide a broad range of clinical services, including face-to-face and telephone consultations, management of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing, referrals and long-term condition reviews. You will work closely with our GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative team to ensure patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve delivering a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, responding to acute presentations, reviewing patients with ongoing health needs and supporting the effective management of long-term conditions. You will use your clinical judgement to develop appropriate management plans, prescribe safely and arrange referrals or further investigations when required.

Th GP will work closely with the wider practice team to ensure patients receive coordinated and holistic care, while maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, patient safety and continuity of care.

The GP will also be expected to maintain high standards of documentation and patient safety, including appropriate safety-netting, safeguarding and confidentiality.
