Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to welcome the Post‑Covid Syndrome Service following its transfer into the Trust and is seeking a General Practitioner to join this innovative and evolving service.

This remote, sessional role offers the opportunity to support adults with post‑Covid symptoms through holistic assessment, diagnosis and management, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team and in close integration with the Trust’s wider community and specialist services to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.

Main duties of the job

Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based clinical care for adults with Post‑Covid Syndrome through remote assessment, diagnosis and management

Undertake holistic triage, assessment and follow‑up clinics, working autonomously within agreed clinical protocols

Initiate, interpret and review investigations and develop appropriate management and rehabilitation plans

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and liaise effectively with primary care, acute, community and voluntary services

Ensure safe, patient‑centred care, including informed consent, risk management and accurate clinical documentation

Contribute to clinical governance, audit, service development and quality improvement activity

Maintain GMC registration, participate in appraisal and revalidation, and engage in continuing professional development
