Southend Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried General Practitioner to join our well-established, forward-thinking practice on a fixed-term basis through GP Scheme Funding.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse population. Main duties of the job
- Provide high-quality general medical services to registered patients.
- Undertake routine surgeries, telephone consultations and home visits as appropriate.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to safeguarding, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Support continuity of care and patient-centred service delivery.

Southend Medical Centre is a busy and progressive practice serving the local community in Southend-on-Sea. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, accessible healthcare and maintaining strong relationships with our patients and partner organisations.
Our clinical team includes experienced GPs, Nursing staff, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, First Contact Practitioners and other members of the Primary Care Network multidisciplinary team.
We utilise modern digital systems and actively participate in local and national initiatives to improve patient outcomes and staff wellbeing.
