Salaried GP - Permanent
Due to expansion in our clinical team, we are looking for an additional Salaried GP to join Gloucester Health Access Centre, part of G DOC Ltd, working within a supportive, innovative primary care group.
Gloucester Health Access Centre are owned and operated by G DOC Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation, serving 45,000+ patients across Gloucestershire.
Key Information
6-7 Sessions Per Week
15min face-to-face appointments
12-15 patients per session
28% Protected Admin Time.
Location: Gloucester Health Access Centre and Matson Lane Surgery - Gloucester
£53.51 per hour.
£13,217 per session, based on a 4.75 hour session.
Gloucester Health Access Centre and Matson Lane Surgery:
- Training practice
- Diverse patient population across multiple sites, adding interest and variation
- Monthly GP clinical meetings
- Quarterly PLT with external expertise (in addition to admin time)
- Proactive approach to fair leave planning (e.g. school holidays)
Based in an enviable location in the country, offering the benefits of city life alongside easy access to the picturesque Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean, South Wales and the South West, with good road and rail links, including a direct train to London in under 2 hours. In Gloucester and in the local area, we have a mix of excellent independent, grammar and government schools with Excellent ratings.

Job responsibilities
Primary care clinician duties, including (but not limited to) face to face consultations, video consultations, telephone consultations, e-consultations and queries. Also, home visits, duty doctor/on-call responsibilities, clinical administration, prescribing, and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Acting as Named GP for a share of registered patients proportionate to contracted hours.
Complying with the General Medical Councils Good Medical Practice and other standards for doctors

- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Competent in use of SystmOne or Willing to become competent in use of SystmOne if not already

- Undergraduate degree in Medicine or GMC-recognised equivalent
- Current registration with General Medical Council and on GMC GP register
- On National Performers List
- MRCGP or equivalent
- Level 3 safeguarding training up to date or, if lapsed, willing to ensure training up to date before commencing post
