- Ability to take full responsibility for independent management of patients
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with patients and team members
- Ability to work at pace in high-pressure unscheduled situations with complex multitasking
Experience
Essential
- Currently working in Lothian Unscheduled Care Service in a salaried or sessional position
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Primary and Community Care services
- Understanding of issues related to providing urgent health care
- At least 1y working as a GP

- Experience in providing GP services to patients in walk-in clinics or other urgent care settings

- GMC registered general practitioner (GP)
- Licence to practice
- MRCGP or equivalent experience
- Evidence of regular and satisfactory appraisal
- Eligible for NHS Lothian’s Performers’ List
- Learning and continued professional development
