Main duties of the job
Milton Keynes University Hospital Maternity team are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible midwives who have a passion for working within the GP based community midwifery setting. You will work in collaboration with women and their families, supporting personalised choice, and high standards of care.

An excellent comprehensive induction package is provided to enable development of your midwifery skills in all areas. You will also be supported to complete a robust preceptorship programme with regular clinical and pastoral support from the retention and practice development lead midwives.

- Proven skills and knowledge in all areas including antenatal/intrapatum and postnatal management

Qualifications and knowledge

- Currently completing/completed Degree to become a Registered Midwife on the NMC professional register
- Clear understanding of midwifery issues and an up-to-date knowledge of current NHS developments within maternity services
- Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Standards and Behaviours
