- The post holder will be an experienced registered midwife with the ability to practise autonomously when providing care to women/birthing people during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period and will be the coordinating care provider for women, birthing people and their families
- You will work as a member of the team providing maternity care to women/birthing people within the hospital and community
- The post holder will deputise on the ward or department in the absence of the senior midwife
- In the community setting you will take responsibility for coordinating the care pathways and participate in the on call service to provide a homebirth service

Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- 12 months rotational midwifery experience
- Experience in teaching and mentoring
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- MSSP/997/998
Desirable
- Experience in deputising in clinical environment
Education and Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Midwife
- Degree or evidence of level 3 study or diploma
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Actively maintain NMC Reg
Desirable
- Car driver
