An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Resuscitation Team as a Resuscitation Trainer, based in Central London. This is a full time, permanent position.
Main duties of the job
The Resuscitation Training Team provide timely education, training and advice on resuscitation and recognition and management of patient deterioration to both clinicians and non-clinicians throughout the Trust. We are looking for a motivated person who can work flexibly either alone or as part of a team. The role will include teaching Emergency Life Support (ELS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) at our training venues in London (Kilburn), Uxbridge and Milton Keynes. It will also include undertaking audits and assisting simulations within wards and services across the Trust.

- Experience providing health care
- Experience facilitating clinical training
Desirable
- Experience of managing resuscitation events in clinical settings
Skills/Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and national standards (e.g. RCUK, NICE, CQC)
- IT Literate

- Awareness of human factors

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Willing to work flexibly and at different locations

Education and Qualifications
