Job overview

We are opening recruitment for a Resuscitation Practitioner to join #teamDPG. This is a unique developmental opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of professionals responsible for the deteriorating patient training across the acute and community services.

NOTE: Please be advised that the start date for the successful candidate will be into the new financial year (May 2026 onwards). The exact timing will be confirmed at offer stage.

Main duties of the job

This job is being advertised as a Band 6 position, but will be amended to a trainee post if there are no successful applicants with the essential skillset for the Band 6 posting, please note the trainee will be employed on a Band 5 posting until the essential requirements are met. Applications are welcomed from all registered (NMC or HCPC) staff.

To apply for this job you must:

  • Hold a current NMC or HCPC registration
  • Have worked in an acute care environment (ED, Acute Admissions, Theatres, ICU, Cardiology or Respiratory)
  • Hold relevant experience and knowledge regarding resuscitation practices
  • Have a valid driving licence and be able to travel between sites as service demands
