Job overview
The Research & Development Department at RCHT are excited to be able to offer the post of Research Nurse Associate to work within the team.
This is a unique and novel role within Cornwall which will work as part of the clinical research team to support the recruitment of participants into clinical trials. Working closely with the Senior Research Nursing team and within the competencies of the role, in line with the NMC Code of Conduct, the Nurse Associate will be a crucial part of of the clinical team, helping to advance research at RCHT.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be dedicated to advancing clinical research within the Research & Development Department. The role involves supporting, coordinating, and overseeing research studies in line with the competencies of the role and scope of practice under the NMC registration, ensuring adherence to ethical, legal and regulation standards. The Research Nurse Associate plays a key role in patient care, data collection and study coordination, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and providers from across the Trust. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to the overall success of research goals. The post holder will have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and have a great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
