THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS DUE TO FUNDING

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team in Welshpool as a community based Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant.

As a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering a patient-centred rehabilitation service, working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

✅ Deliver  rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition and mobility ✅ Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists. ✅ Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team. ✅ Be flexible to support the team during peak service times. ✅ Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 2 pm on your 1 in 3 weekend and 8:30am-4:30 pm for 4 days in the week.

About You

🔹 Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation. 🔹 Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. 🔹 Organised with good time management skills. 🔹 Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.
