A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse / ODP to join the Cardiac scrub team within the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has traditionally supported NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, both locally and nationally, and to provide high volume elective surgery. This includes the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish Advanced Heart Failure Service and the National Organ Retrieval Service.

If you are successful in applying for this post, you will be part of a pioneering team of dynamic individuals, scrubbing/learning to scrub for the required Basic Cardiac procedures, as well as learning with support, Adult Congenital Procedures and all the Heart Failure Service entails e.g. Heart Transplant, Mechanical Support Programme and any complicated Cardiology/extraction procedures.

We currently have 20 theatres, 4 of which are dedicated to Cardiac surgery.
