An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to work on Ludlow Ward which is a 16 bedded single side room facility, caring for patients on both NHS and Private pathways.   We are a friendly and welcoming team that works well together, takes great pride in their nursing role.

**Please note that we have no access to OSCE support courses, and nurses pending registration are welcome to apply but must be able to evidence that they have satisfied the NMC Objective Structured Clinical Examination Test of Competence**

Main duties of the job

The post is responsible for providing skilled nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, to ensure individualised and effective care is practiced. The successful candidate will act as a resource within the speciality of Orthopaedics, empowering junior staff to develop the highest possible level of clinical skills and facilitate communication within all care groups, whilst utilising the wards resources to promote excellence in practice.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (General) with good communication skills with the ability to assist with change and the drive to improve and develop clinical practice. The successful candidate will also be motivated, confident individual who also shows initiative, is a team player and who is flexible and reliable to meet the demands of the service and able to demonstrate consistently high standards of work.

Under the direction of the Ward/ department manager the post holder is responsible for providing skilled high quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, to ensure individualised and effective care is practiced.
