We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Recruitment Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver a high-quality recruitment service, supporting teams to recruit the people they need to provide excellent patient care.
About the role
You will support the full recruitment process and act as a key point of contact for managers, applicants and colleagues. Your role will include:
- Responding to recruitment enquiries and providing clear, helpful information
- Supporting the recruitment process from advertisement through to appointment
- Completing pre-employment checks (e.g. right to work, references and DBS)
- Preparing recruitment documents such as offer letters and contracts
- Keeping accurate records and updating recruitment systems
- Working closely with managers and candidates to ensure a smooth, timely process
This is a busy and varied role, where organisation, attention to detail and a positive approach are essential.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities
- A clear communicator with a collaborative approach
- Passionate about delivering a high standard of customer service
- Comfortable working with IT systems and handling confidential information
- A team player who builds positive working relationships
Main duties of the job
You will need, as a minimum:
- A good standard of English Language GCSE (or equivalent qualification)
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Customer Services, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Working knowledge of recruitment procedures would be an advantage
- Experience of working in a busy, customer-focused office environment
- A high level of attention to detail
- A positive ‘can do’ approach
