Job summary
Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and experienced person to apply for the role of Validator within the Radiology department. The successful applicant will effectively undertake both DM01 & RTT validation of our large PTL, in order to support the delivery of Trust and National DM01 standards.
Main duties of the job
To succeed in this role, you will :-
-have experience of working in an NHS admin setting, with patient pathways & DM01/ RTT standards
-meet deadlines, and have an eye for detail and accuracy
-have strong communication and interpersonal skills
-have demonstrable experience of MS Office
-have a strong inquisitive mindset, actively seeking to understand processes and improve outcomes

Essential
- *Experience of working as part of a team and in isolation.
- *To be proficient in Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook
- *Experience of working within a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- *Experience of working to protocols and procedures
- *Experience of dealing with challenging/ stressful communication amongst patients, relatives and the colleagues.
- *Experience of use of databases and patient management systems
- *Experience of working with waiting lists/pathways and adhering to national waiting targets
- *Collaborative working across multiple teams
- *Ability to undertake validation of a waiting list, comparing information within EPR and RIS systems whilst adhering to Access Policy
- *Understanding of 6-week & 18-week pathways, and a PTL
- *Understanding of medical terminology
- *Understanding of patient-centred care
- *Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information that requires tact and persuasive skills.
- *Effectively prioritise own workload and adapt to changing circumstances.
- *Demonstrate understanding of the meaning of confidentiality and the requirement for this to be maintained.

Qualifications
