This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. Responsible for the organisation, planning and direct delivery of a high-quality regional breast imaging service for the South East Division of the Scottish Breast Screening Service and in conjunction with the Clinical Director of screening provide direction and vision for future service development and provision being accountable to NSD and partner Health boards

Responsible for the financial and operational performance of SE Scotland Breast Screening service and for the maintenance of all Radiographic Quality Assurance standards in accordance with National Guidelines.

Deputise for the Clinical Director in all clinical aspects of this role and represent the director at meetings as required.
