Main duties of the job

The apprentice will support the admin team with the following:

  • Participate in an efficient and patient centred appointments office which will involve making and changing radiology appointments.
  • Participate in using radiology information system (RIS) to ensure maximum use of available appointment slots.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional greeting when attending patients on a busy reception areas– checking the patients demographics and updating if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical staff.
