Job overview

To co-ordinate, facilitate and assist with the implementation of all aspects of quality for Clinical Haematology. To work with the clinical haematology team to assist the Quality Manager, as the co-ordinating specialist, for all quality measures in clinical haematology.  To coordinate and maintain quality initiatives for JACIE accreditation as a Peripheral Stem Cell Collection Facility and Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Centre.

Main duties of the job

  • Ensure SOPs are document controlled, reviewed and re-issued in a timely manner, according to the document control SOP
  • Ensure that third party contracts are regularly reviewed and fulfil national regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the review of adverse incidents reported in relation to stem cell collection / storage / transplantation and coordinate the implementation of any recommendations resulting from the review.
