Working Part time: 22.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QB practitioner to join the Neurodevelopmental Paediatric team based at Kingsway Children's Centre in Chester.

The QB Practitioner will be responsible for administrating the QB tests and the accompanied admin tasks, checking in and out clinic, uploading reports and observations to evolve and contacting to Clinicians to inform that the assessment has been completed.

Main duties of the job

You will contribute and commit to promoting a positive team-based attitude, striving for the highest standards of care and achieving excellence, through continued development and compassion. You will actively engage with Consultants, Specialist Nurses and members of the secretarial team in order to maintain efficient patient pathways. When instructed you will support senior management in the effective running of the ASD and ADHD service, creating an environment which allows the team to maximise their ability.

You will be expected to exercise independent judgement and using your own initiative. All work must be carried out in a timely and accurate manner, with confidentiality being maintained at all times when dealing with patient/staff information. You will contribute to this culture as you will be a key contact for patients and carers between relevant sources of support and information appropriate to their needs.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £16 per year applies.
