The Advanced Nurse Practitioner team are looking to recruit to a Qualified ANP to work across the front door at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin; comprising of the Emergency Department (ED), Minor Injuries, Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU)/Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU).
This post has arisen from additional funding from Scottish Government for Moray Acute services to enhance its delivery of the NHS Grampian Unscheduled Care Improvement Plan.
You will be supported to undertake the Royal College of Emergency Medicine portfolio to develop your emergency care skills and knowledge, with clinical supervision provided from our Consultants and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP). This is a full time post (37 hours) where you will have 10% of your time protected for development in your four pillars of practice and be involved in Quality Improvements and Service Developments. There will be 6 weekly meetings with the Lead ANP to support development and pastoral care.
Candidates should have a minimum of a PG Diploma in Advanced Practice. It is essential that candidates submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating their clinical, academic and ongoing development mapping the four pillars of advanced practice, please forward to my email address below.
