NHS Golden Jubilee (NHS GJ) has an exciting opportunity for a Programme Support Officer with planning and project management skills to join its Quality, Performance, Planning and Programmes (QPPP) team.

NHS Golden Jubilee has a national portfolio consisting of the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, NHS Scotland Academy, Centre for Sustainable Delivery, Golden Jubilee Research Institute and Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.

Working within a vibrant team with an increasingly diverse remit, the post-holder will provide project support services across a range of exciting strategic initiatives, including the new Sustainability and Value programme, and key improvement projects within clinical divisions. The successful candidate will also play an important role in supporting the QPPP function by collaborating with divisional teams and providing advice and guidance to ensure NHS GJ’s planning approaches, Project Lifecycle framework and good governance are embedded across the organisation’s portfolio of initiatives.

Do you have:

  • The ability to provide comprehensive project management support within a complex programme and project environment
  • Experience of project planning and management, with strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A focus on quality and attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and team working skills
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • A recognised project management qualification, or interest in working towards one
