The role of a Programme Manager is key for the success of our Trust’s Digital Transformation Programme.  The Programme Manager will deliver a key Digital Programme to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and managing risk.

You will have a very strong background delivering Digital programmes within healthcare and will be able to bridge the gap between IT infrastructure and clinical applications, having a good, high level technical understanding of both areas.  You will be a meticulous planner, a forthright and clear communicator and an extremely proactive individual.  NHS environments are challenging, colleagues have many different interests competing for their time, so in order for the Trust to deliver its strategic aims you will have to actively push and promote the Digital agenda.  You will anticipate risks and discern issues, own problems and identify viable solutions as part of your programme management activities.  You will provide leadership to the project teams you assemble and you will motivate the colleagues that comprise them to deliver their best.  You will ensure that the projects you oversee deliver products that the end users are happy to receive and that fulfil their expectations and the needs of the patient.  You will be passionate about the NHS, committed to excellence and you will believe that IT can deliver amazing, positive benefits to patient care, now and in the future.
