Main duties of the job

No two days are the same. As a PBS Practitioner, you’ll work closely with the people we support and the colleagues who support them, helping to create environments where people can flourish.

  • Partner with services to embed PBS principles into everyday practice.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You’ll bring both expertise and passion to the role. You will:

  • Have experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing PBS plans.
  • Understand restrictive practice reduction and person-centred approaches.
  • Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and supporting others to grow.
  • Be able to analyse information and turn insight into practical action.
  • Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Be organised, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel across the UK.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of the wide range of statutory independent and third-sector service provisions for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
  • Knowledge of other relevant local and national documents/drivers that affects practice.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience Health Professional with evidence of working in Services with a wide range of needs.
  • BSc in a Psychology-related subject.
