The CSTM is seeking enthusiastic new member of staff to join the Portering team at Halton. We have a professional and dedicated imaging team committed to providing a first class service to our patients and clinical users.
We are a busy department working 7.5hrs a day across 5 days per week and the successful candidates will be required to work 9.30am-5.30pm
Main duties of the job
The post involves the transporting of waste/Linen from all areas of the hospital to the different departments & transporting of bloods/specimens/fluids & ad-hoc duties .
The post holder will be expected to liaise with the ward/ staff regarding the safe transfer of the patient including any equipment (e.g. drip stands/infusion pumps/chest drains etc) and personal belongings.
The post holder will be expected to maintain the privacy and dignity of patients at all times and to behave in a manner demonstrating care and compassion to patients and their escorts.

The main duties include the transfer of patients to Radiology from all areas of the hospital.
They are also responsible for the transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary.
