Main duties of the job

You will undertake a two-year assistant practitioner apprenticeship programme. As well as studying, you will provide comprehensive foot care treatment, advice and continuing care to patients. This will include footcare such as nail reduction and lesion redressing.

Other duties will include, support to specialist and lead podiatrists, responsible for stock orders, accurate recording of treatments and related work, preparing clinical areas and manufacturing of insoles and silicone appliances.
