Senior Staff Nurse

Band 6 - Full time + Part time hours available - Permanent

Neonatal Unit, Aberdeen Maternity Hospital

The Neonatal Unit has 38 cots for premature and newborn infants with both medical and surgical conditions. We also operate a regional Neonatal Transport Service. Due to current vacancies we have opportunities for Children’s Nurses to join our team. You will be qualified in specialty with at least 12 months experience post qualification. There is an invested interest in an, in-service education program to support orientation and learning. The post is rotational day and night duty. If you wish to deliver a high standard of autonomous neonatal nursing care then this job is for you.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
