Physiotherapist Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Clifton Park TC, York

30 Hours Per Week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team at Clifton Park. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out intradepartmental tasks to ensure smooth running of the department and service guided by your head of department.
  • Ensure the department complies with organisation standard e.g. cleanliness and health and safety
  • Support the Physiotherapy team in non-clinical patient centred administrative tasks e.g. booking of and amending of appointments
  • Undertake specific support work to aid the rehabilitation and discharge of patients delegated to you and under the supervision of qualified therapists
  • Treat patients according to set treatment protocol, monitoring progression and make minor alterations as required within scope of practice under supervision of the Physiotherapist.
