We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our friendly primary care team. This is a patient-facing role supporting the delivery of high-quality care within a busy GP surgery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
- Carry out venepuncture safely and effectively in accordance with best practice
- Collect, label, and handle specimens correctly for laboratory testing
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS requirements
- Adhere to infection prevention and control standards
- Maintain and clean clinical equipment and work areas
