As a key member, you will support the Pharmacy Manager and Team Leader in pharmacy services, including ordering, stock control, and drug preparation. This includes advising patients and clinical staff on pharmaceutical products and ensuring accurate dispensing of prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurate dispensing and issuing of prescriptions as per Ramsay Health Care Policies.
- Manufacturing pharmacy goods.
- Supporting the pharmacist in checking Inpatient Prescription Record Charts for appropriate treatment.
- Providing advice to patients/carers and clinical staff.
- Training and coaching new pharmacy staff.
- Maintaining patient care and confidentiality standards.
- Adhering to GPhC Standards.
- Participating in Weekend, Bank Holiday, and extended hours rotas.
Essential qualifications:
- NVQ2/3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- At least 4 GCSEs (A-C), including English, Maths, and Science.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Flexibility to meet business needs.
- Customer Service skills.
- Computer Skills.
