Job summary

We are looking for a registered Pharmacy Technician or a trainee Pharmacy Technician with less than 6 months until they qualify who is enthusiastic, follows The Leeds Way, has a strong work ethic, is able to work well as part of a team as well as undertaking lone working and punctual.

Main duties of the job

This role is for a Pharmacy Technician Higher Level in ward services Some of the main day to day duties of this role include but are not limited to; Medication history taking Medicines optimisation Dispensing and accuracy checking of medicines Supporting and at times covering for the lead technician Training of new and rotational staff Line management of Senior Pharmacy Services Assistants Core Professional Commitments (CPC) support and support to CPC areas when needed (dispensaries, J80 chemotherapy day unit and aseptics) There will be opportunities for project work, leadership courses, cross site working amongst other things.
