Main duties of the job

Enable pharmacy integration within Neighbourhood Health teams

  • Support coordination between community pharmacies, PCNs and other neighbourhood services. Facilitate information flows, meeting logistics and follow up actions between partners. Help identify operational issues and escalate appropriately.

Improve access to medicines and local services

  • Support mapping of services, signposting materials and practical processes that improve access to urgent and same day community pharmacy services. Collect and summarise feedback from providers to support continuous improvement. Work with community pharmacy to promote consistent operational delivery.

Provide technical, governance and quality support

  • Support audits, process reviews and data collection for neighbourhood pharmacy programmes. Help ensure services follow agreed protocols and governance arrangements.

Data, monitoring and reporting

  • Gather activity data, service KPIs and feedback to support monitoring and evaluation. Maintain simple dashboards, trackers or data summaries. Support the identification of trends or operational issues requiring further review.

Stakeholder and communication support

  • Develop effective working relationships with community pharmacies, PCN teams, practice staff and neighbourhood partners. Help coordinate engagement events, training sessions and communications. Provide practical support in disseminating updated pathways, guidance and resources.
