Main duties of the job
To participate in the provision of stock and non-stock items to wards and departments including the provision of topping up and a range of medicines management duties.
To support the use of ward automation systems in the control of stock held at ward level.
To ensure that data entry into pharmacy computer systems is accurate and timely.
To process orders for medicines under the terms of the site Wholesale dealers license in accordance with relevant SOPs.
To carry out general stock management duties in all areas of the pharmacy including receipt of goods, transfers, stock counts, stock rotation and investigation of stock discrepancies when necessary.
To undertake relevant training as required.
