The NHS Fife Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate serves a population of approximately 380,000 people and is provided by an integrated team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The team works across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. Partnership working is at the core of our values, and we work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including our Community Pharmacy colleagues, to deliver the highest quality care for everyone in Fife.

Working in the Dispensary, you will assist with the labeling and dispensing of medicines, stock management and reception duties.
You will be based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy but will be required to work at both Queen Margaret and Victoria Hospital Pharmacy Departments to meet the needs of the service with participation in an evening, weekend and Public Holiday Rota.
Pharmacy experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
