Perioperative Practitioner - Scrub | Harpenden | 37.5 | Monday – Friday | Rotational Weekends | Market Leading Salary |

Spire Harpenden Hospital offers a modern, well-equipped clinical environment designed to support high-quality patient care. The hospital features 64 private en-suite patient rooms, providing a comfortable and private setting for recovery, alongside five operating theatres, including specialist laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic procedures.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner with scrub expertise to join our well-established theatre team. You will play a key role in supporting patients through their perioperative journey and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage.
  • Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.
  • Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse (no restrictions).
  • Minimum 2 years scrub experience (Orthopaedics)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexible, positive attitude.
  • Desirable: Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification
  • Full time 37.5 hours per week
