NHS Northamptonshire ICB and NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICB HR and OD Support Officer to join our People Team and help shape a positive employee experience across our Cluster organisation.
This varied and rewarding role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of HR and Organisational Development activities, including employee relations, staff engagement, wellbeing initiatives, organisational development programmes, workforce data analysis, learning events and culture change projects.
You will work closely with managers, staff, partners and colleagues to deliver practical HR and OD solutions that support our people and organisational ambitions. We are looking for someone with experience in an HR or OD environment, strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities and a genuine passion for supporting people and teams.
Main duties of the job
- To provide professional, comprehensive and timely Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD) advice and support to managers and staff, across the People Service portfolio (e.g. employee relations, organisational development interventions).
- The post holder will need to build and maintain constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support planning, coordination, and delivery of HR, OD and engagement activities
- Provide advice and support to managers on general HR/OD related issues and queries.
- Manage and respond to queries into the HR/OD inboxes
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Support delivery of the NHS Strategic Commissioning Framework and LNR Operating Model.
- Support work programmes within the LNR People and OD Strategy.
- Maintain records, reports, and databases in line with project plans, statutory and governance requirements.
- Provide operational support to the HR and OD teams in accordance with an annual work programme and key deliverables.
- Work with managers and Staff Side representatives to develop a culture of healthy employee relations, harmonious partnership working, staff involvement and engagement.
- Participate in the local implementation of the ICB's Health and wellbeing agenda.
- Assist with promoting, monitoring, evaluating and reporting of HR, OD and engagement initiatives
- Support and advise managers on employee relations casework as delegated by the People Services Senior Lead/Senior People Services Manager, to include sickness, conduct, performance, grievance and harassment issues.
- Support with OD interventions, including facilitating as delegated by Senior OD Manager.
