Main duties of the job
- You will be a member of the Payments Team, working in Financial Services, and contributing to the delivery of a high quality Payment service. Responsible for the review, registration, scanning and subsequent processing of invoices authorised for payment -
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure VAT recovery is applied where appropriate, queries are promptly and professionally investigated and the potential for incorrect payment/fraud is minimised.
- You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a team, recognise the importance of team working. You must be able to work under pressure contribute to the achievement of team goals. It is also important that the person within this role demonstrates a strong performance against the Trust Behaviour Framework.

Qualifications
Essential
- • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Desirable
- • ECDL or equivalent
- • AAT Foundation Level or equivalent finance-based qualification / experience
Previous Experience
Essential
- • Experience of IT including spreadsheets and computerised financial ledgers.
- • Familiar with high volume data input into a computer system requiring both speed and accuracy.
Desirable
- • Relevant experience of working in a finance department
- • Previous accounts payable experience

- Able to be flexible with working pattens, which may include occasional evenings and weekends as determined by the needs of the service & key deadlines
