The post holder will also provide oversight and quality assurance of investigation documentation and reports, and will provide support to more complex After Action Reviews (AARs) which are led by the Clinical Directorates.

The post holder will also undertake the PSIRF Engagement Lead role for relevant responses, ensuring compassionate involvement of patients, families and carers, supporting delivery of Duty of Candour, and promoting a psychologically safe learning environment underpinned by just culture principles.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff leading other learning responses
  • Provide training to staff within the organisation of PSIRF principles / systems thinking to assist with the embedding of other learning responses
