Main duties of the job

Where required to support patient flow delivery , accurately and promptly carry out the instructions of the registered professional who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care.

  • To report any updates from healthcare professionals regarding clinical care (such as investigation, procedures) to Hospital Clinical Coordinator.
  • Appropriately support patients with routine personal care needs, to support patient flow delivery, including: -       Washing and Showering -       Assisting with dressing and undressing -       Toileting / catheter care / formed stoma care -       Mouthcare / Oral Hygiene -       Assisting patients which require support with eating and drinking. -       Personal grooming for example brushing hair and shaving etc.
  • Safe transfer and Mobilising of patients line with Trust policy and their individualised care plan.
