Do you have a passion for helping children and young people with physical disabilities and complex needs? If yes, we are looking for someone to join our Physiotherapy team.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated Band 7 Physiotherapist with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and delegate according to patient and service need. You will be a key player within the Nottingham Therapy Team and be responsible for supporting our Physiotherapists and, within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting them in undertaking routine assessments and interventions clinic in accordance with Evidence Based Practise and patient centred goal setting.
Main duties of the job
You should have previous experience of supporting children, young people and families with physical disabilities and complex health needs. You will be able to assess, treatment plan, and provide intervention using a patient centred and holistic approach. You should have previous experience of supporting and supervising qualified and non-qualified staff as well as have a interest and experience in service development.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. (Appropriate mileage allowance would be payable).
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To work as part of the integrated team to deliver agreed programmes of intervention at a variety of locations to meet the needs of the children presenting with short and long-term disability / needs
The post holder will work within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as part of the wider multi- disciplinary team and will provide a quality, effective, accessible, patient centred service from a skilled workforce for all children referred.
This will include children with a variety of conditions including neurological, orthopaedic, functional co-ordination disorder, learning disability and those requiring long term rehabilitation

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
