Are you a motivated, flexible Registered Children’s Nurse eager to advance in Paediatric Emergency Care?

We have exciting full-time and part-time Registered Nurse roles in the Paediatric Emergency Departments at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.

You will be supported by a skilled, compassionate paediatric emergency team. The role includes cross-site working at both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. Shifts include nights and weekends, supporting our 24/7 care in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties of the job

You will be a confident Registered Children’s Nurse with a passion for and/ or experience in acute paediatrics and/or paediatric A&E. An emergency care qualification, and/or being be EPALS certified is desirable but not essential.

All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date had been agreed.

Following your corporate induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please email mtw-tr.professionalstandards@nhs.net if this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.
