Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people?

We are looking for a Dietitian to join our Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic Service within NHS Tayside.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team, with a key focus on providing specialist dietetic care to infants and young children with complex nutritional needs. The post holder will support children requiring nutritional monitoring, enteral feeding and specialist intervention during critical stages of growth and development.

Alongside this specialist focus, the post holder will undertake the wider responsibilities of a Band 6 paediatric dietitian, including providing dietetic support to the paediatric ward, contributing to general and specialist clinics, and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.

We welcome applications from experienced Band 6 Paediatric Dietitians, as well as Band 5 Dietitians with relevant clinical experience and an interest in developing their paediatric skills. Previous paediatric experience is desirable but not essential — we would love to hear from Dietitians with transferable skills and a passion for working with children and families.

This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist paediatric dietetic skills, contribute to service improvement and be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality nutritional care across NHS Tayside.

The team is committed to supporting professional development through CPD opportunities, student training, collaborative learning and involvement in service improvement projects.
