Main duties of the job
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Operating Unit (OU) as an Administrative Support Assistant. This role is essential to the efficient functioning of the operating units and involves various administrative tasks to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the OU Leadership Team, ensuring accurate report compilation from multiple data sources.
- Perform clerical duties, including document preparation, note-taking, and report writing, to support seamless communication within the team.
- Attend meetings with managers to offer real-time support, ensuring professional and courteous representation.
- Assist operational staff with pay queries, timesheet input, and uniform ordering, referring complex issues to relevant departments or managers.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of a critical care setting.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new data systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective engagement with managers, staff, and external contacts.
