Job summary
We are currently seeking experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Consultants to support weekend insourcing lists in Midlands and North surround areas contributing to NHS waiting list recovery initiatives,
Main duties of the job
These sessions offer the opportunity to work within a well-supported, patient-focused environment across a variety of services, including:
- Outpatient clinics
- Minor oral and head & neck surgical procedures
- Extractions
This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your practice with flexible weekday or weekend work while collaborating with experienced multidisciplinary teams.

Job responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients from NHS waiting lists
- lists Interpret diagnostic investigations and clinical findings
- Deliver high-quality care within a multidisciplinary team setting
- Provide clinical leadership and, where appropriate, supervision to junior colleagues
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including clear follow-up plans aligned with Trust pathways.
- Conduct specialist outpatient consultations and clinical examinations.
- Develop and discuss appropriate treatment plans with patients.
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures appropriate to training and competence.
