Job summary
We are looking for experienced Oracle Millennium Trainers to join a major digital transformation programme and play a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of the Oracle Millennium EPR system. As an EPR Trainer, you will develop and deliver high-quality training that equips staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to effectively adopt new digital solutions and ways of working.
Working closely with stakeholders across clinical and operational services, you will ensure training is engaging, accessible and aligned to best practice, clinical safety standards and programme objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated training professional who is passionate about learning, digital transformation and improving patient care through technology.
Main duties of the job
The Oracle Millennium Trainer will contribute to the implementation of the Electronic Patient record (EPR) training strategy, delivering a safe and proven solution. They will provide timely and comprehensive development of training materials. The training regime will clearly demonstrate robust knowledge transfer via several delivery channels and tests, building upon supplier donor materials and previous work of other Trusts.

Job responsibilities
Develop and deliver the training activities to assure the knowledge transfer / adoption in the context of the target workforce, to demonstrate the ability to realise the agreed benefits.
Provide training on the Oracle Millennium Health platform via channels, at times, and in environments to meet the needs of the range of end users and their learning styles, as defined in the Training strategy.
Be responsible for ensuring trainees have understood their training, its context, and can operate the solutions effectively.
Document all aspects of the training activities and apply training processes.
Deliver responsibilities within the agreed time constraints and support the balancing of priorities of the programme and its partners.
Ensure the training outcomes comply with Clinical Safety Standards.
Responsible for the delivery of training in accordance with the change management (future processes).
The EPR Go Live Trainer is responsible for ensuring all training activities have appropriate stakeholder support.
Support the assessment of all risks to quality and/or highest standards of workforce experience and patient care.
Ensure that relevant best practice methodologies are applied.
Engage constructively and effectively using appropriate channels.
Manage professional interactions to deliver expected outcomes.
Ensure all user training is comprehensive.
Able to co-ordinate own training activities effectively, holding self to account.
Ensure the deployment of ways of working enabled by new digital solutions are accompanied with appropriate and accessible training services.
